MEET CHEF RODNEY, Growing up in Memphis with a house full of strong women, he realized from the tender of age of 10 that his passion and purpose was to share his creativity and love through food. Chef Rodney is able to express his true passion by preparing extraordinary dishes which leads to memorable experiences.

After graduating from the Culinard Culinary Arts in Birmingham, Alabama, Rodney’s professional career quickly took off. Inspired by Ambrosia (the Greek God of food and drink) combined with his mother’s maiden name “Ambrose,” he put it all together and in 2005 House of Ambrosia was born.
MEET CHEF GENE, a native of Sasser, Georgia. He is a creative and disciplined visionary with a passion for design and culinary. He learned to dream big while growing up in rural South Georgia and saw the Air Force as an opportunity for further education as well as an avenue to explore the world beyond the dirt roads he grew up on.

As a professional Interior Designer and Chef, Gene has established himself as a unique and successful entrepreneur in Atlanta for the past 20 years. His eye for luxury interiors & finishes, exclusive celebrity clientele and master culinary skills made him the perfect addition to House of Ambrosia.
Gene sees the art of cooking and designing as intertwined. “You have to be intentional! Carefully selecting the necessary accessory to complete a space is equivalent to properly garnishing a culinary masterpiece. It has to make sense.”He believes in crafting an elevated experience through thoughtful design and precise culinary techniques. Despite his humble origins, Gene has successfully established himself in the big city and is committed to pushing boundaries in his respective fields.
MEET CHEF ROZ, growing up she spent countless hours in the kitchen with her Mother and Grandmother, honing her skills in baking. These cherished moments in Memphis, both at home and during the laborious hours spent perfecting recipes for House of Ambrosia, laid the foundation for her baking journey.

Roslyn’s upbringing was steeped in holiday gatherings filled with delectable feasts and an array of sweets, including iconic desserts like Fresh Coconut Cake, Red Velvet Cake, Caramel Cake, and Lemon Pound Cake passed down by her mother, Mrs. Alma. Inspired by her family’s culinary traditions, Roslyn excelled at Escoffier’s Pastry School, becoming a top achiever on her path to becoming a renowned Pastry Chef. Under the guidance of Executive Chef Rodney and her mother’s blessings, Roslyn founded Sweet Alma’s Dessert Bar, offering Southern Classic Desserts such as Lemon Cream Pound Cake, Bourbon Peach Cobbler, and Caramel Cake, along with custom creations for various occasions, exclusively available through House of Ambrosia Catering and Events, the ultimate destination for indulging in these sweet delights.

I had International collogues coming to Atlanta, some for the first time, and I wanted to give them a taste of my southern roots with a flare. Chef Rodney and the entire team OVER DELIVERED!! Working with them to cultivate my vision was so easy and fun. The food was OUTSTANDING!! I mean the Collard Green and Chicken Empanadas were smack your momma good and don’t get me started on the Shrimp and Grits!! Can’t forget that Peach Cobbler OMG!!! I can not wait to call and have my next event catered. So mouth watering good! Thank you House of Ambrosia for EVERYTING!! They were very attentive to the occasion and created a menu for the event that all our guests were raving about. (The phrase of the day was, “ The chicken was FIRE!!”) Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. They helped to make the event a success and a memorable experience!
